When can I visit the Roof Café?
Starting from 10th July, sessions will run at the following times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until the club re-opens in late August:
9am – 10.45am
11.15am – 1.15pm
1.45pm -3.45pm (Saturday & Sunday only)
4.15pm – 5.45pm
How are you making it safe for families to visit?
The well-being of our team and our member community is paramount and we have put in place a number of measures to support infection control:
Social distancing, including
-pre-booked sessions with limited capacity – a maximum of six people from one household may attend a pre-booked session
-one-way system for access and egress
-increased spacing between tables
-contactless ordering and payment
-our kitchen team will wear masks
Increased sanitisation and cleaning
-guests will be required to sanitise hands upon entry
-increased cleaning shifts, including between sessions
-removal of hard to clean toys and furnishings
How do I book a session?

Is there any charge for booking a session?
Sessions are free to members however you will be expected to pay for any food or drink consumed during the session. As we are not currently charging membership fees, a minimum spend of £10 per family applies, to support the viability of our service.
What if I need to change or cancel my session?
If you are no longer able to attend a session, we ask you to provide at least 24hrs’ notice wherever possible so that we can offer your slot to another member. With appropriate notice, we will try to accommodate changes to pre-booked sessions however ask for your understanding as we try to ensure fair access for all members.
How will sessions be allocated?
Sessions will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. To ensure as many of our members as possible are able to enjoy access to the Roof, we ask that you only make one booking per weekend but notify us if you would like to be added to the waitlist for a second visit, subject to availability.
Can I attend at any point during my session?
We understand that it can be challenging to arrive dead on time with little ones in tow, but would ask that you arrive within the first 15 minutes of your session as we will be unable to extend the allocated time for any late arrivals, even where food has been ordered.
How are seating arrangements working?
Upon arrival you will be directed to a table which is socially distanced at 1m.
How do I order and pay my bill?
We are operating a contactless ordering system where members scan a QR code to access a menu and order form. Please ensure you bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Payments are by contactless credit card only, no cash will be accepted and we regret that under the new system we are no longer to charge orders to your membership account.
Will we be able to access the club – and the play areas?
In line with government guidance our club and its play areas remain closed; access will only be provided to the roof terrace area
What happens if it rains?
Our roof terrace is partially undercover however if the weather is inclement we regret that we may have to cancel sessions at short notice. Should we need to cancel a session, members with bookings will be notified by email or telephone as early as possible.
