our camps
Our camps are ideal for children from 4 - 8 years of age. Designed to stimulate curiosity and inspire creativity through art and craft, science, cooking and music – kids can look forward to everything from mega science experiments to putting on music shows with their own home-made instruments, or creating a giant cityscape from cardboard boxes. Our experienced camp leaders are passionate about encouraging independent, ‘what if’ thinking, and will guide children to build relationships, learn social skills, practise problem-solving and teamwork, and above all: have fun! Drinks, snacks and lunch are provided.

To reduce risk of transmission, camps will be organised into consistent ‘bubbles’ and as such, families may only make full session bookings (5 days), rather than choose individual days to join our camps. Please note, our camps will only proceed if we have sufficient weekly demand. In the event that we are unable to run a camp, parents will be notified at least 7 days prior to the camp start and a full refund will be issued.
Please see our FAQs for further details.
Summer Camps - 19th July to 27th August 2021
Ever heard of the famous adventures of Passepartout and Mr Fogg who journeyed 'Around the World in 80 Days'? This summer, Maggie & Rose are excited to invite big kids to join us for camp as we voyage 'Around the World in 6 Weeks’! Travel the globe with us week by week, exploring the continents to learn what makes each one unique and beautiful. We’ll discover different cultures, geology, geography, music and art – all brought to life by our charismatic club leaders and a rich program of STEM activities.
Our trip around the world will take little ones to:
Africa Week 1: 19th to 23rd July
Europe - Week 2, 26th to 30th July
South & Central America - Week 3, 2nd to 6th August
North America - Week 4, 9th to 13th August
Asia - Week 5, 16th to 20th August
Oceania & Antarctica - Week 6, 23rd to 27th August
Each week will follow the daily activities outlined below, themed to the continent we land in that week. Each day at camp starts with some time to settle in, get to know each other and prepare for the day. After their first craft project, campers break for lunch and some time to let off steam in our play areas, followed by their afternoon activities. Before pick-up there'll be time to pursue individual interests and reflect on the day together.
10.30am to 4pm
We’ll be meeting some of the animals that call each continent home and they’ll be inspiring some exciting crafts and recipes!
10.30am to 4pm
We’ll be influenced by the great art of each continent while also learning about the history of their culture, from recreating Banksy street art to crafting our own versions of ancient Egyptian jewellery.
10.30am to 4pm
Today is all about getting moving, whether by exploring the beats and rhythms of each continent or learning some of the games and sports that they enjoy playing, including time spent outdoors!
10.30am to 4pm
We’ll be exploring with our taste buds as we rustle up some traditional recipes from each continent or create some delicious dishes inspired by famous chefs of that region.
10.30am to 4pm
From becoming Vikings to designing your own carnival, we’ll be challenging little ones to let their imaginations flow as they experience what it’s like to live ‘A the day in the life of...’
There’s no limit to what we’ll imagine!

How are you making it safe for children to attend camps?

The well-being of our team and our member community is paramount and we have put in place a number of measures to ensure a COVID safe environment for your children :

Social distancing, including
– pre-booked sessions in same weekly ‘bubble’
– we will continue to maintain excellent staff / children ratios and each bubble will be allocated two staff members who will remain with them throughout the week
– parents will not be allowed to enter the club at drop-off; our team will welcome each child and settle them to the camp area
– children may not bring toys or other items from home

Increased sanitisation and cleaning
– attendees will be required to sanitise hands upon entry and regular hand-washing will be encouraged throughout the day
– increased cleaning shifts, including between sessions
– sanitisation stations
– removal of hard to clean toys and furnishings

We will also be monitoring both children’s and team temperatures during camps.

When will camps run?

Camp sessions will run Monday 19th July to Friday 27th August 2021.

Camps will start at 10.30am and finish at 4.00pm. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are also available.

In order to reduce risk of transmission we must keep children within consistent ‘bubbles’ throughout the week, as they currently are within nursery/school. This will mean that we can only accept full week bookings, rather than being able to choose specific days each week.

Will you offer a refund if the camp has to be cancelled?

In the event that we need to cancel a camp session due to lack of demand or government-imposed guidelines, a full refund will be provided.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?

We ask that you provide us with a minimum of 48hrs’ notice should you need to cancel your camp booking. Cancellation of bookings will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances, such as a child needing to isolate due to Covid-19 and upon receipt of a Dr’s note.

What happens if it rains?

We have adequate undercover space to continue camps should weather become inclement.

How much do camps cost?

Camp sessions vary by location but start from £196 per week for members and £260 per week for non-members.
Early drop-off (8.30am to 10.30am) and Late pick-up sessions are priced at a daily rate of £60 for members and £80 for non-members.

How do I book?

Please fill out the enquiry form here or contact our teams at sales@maggieandrose.com

What happens if someone shows symptoms of COVID-19?

We ask that any child who is unwell remains at home and does not attend camp. We will monitor children and staff closely for any symptoms of coronavirus. This will include daily temperature checks.

As per current government guidelines, should a team member or a child within the bubble contract Covid-19 or display symptoms of the virus, they will be required to self-isolate for 14 days. We will, of course, offer credit or a refund for any days missed upon receipt of a doctor’s note.
