Half term survival guide
It’s time to flex your parenting muscles and pull an awesome good time out of the bag again this half term. Luckily we’re on hand to lend our ‘fun times’ expertise! All Points East: In the Neighbourhood Festival
Victoria Park, 28th– 30th May 28
Taking over Victoria Park this half term is London’s newest music festival, ‘All Points East’.
Headliners include: LCD Soundsystem, The XX, Björk and The National.
In between the cool gigs there is an enormous programme of free activities including kids’ art and sport workshops, a street food market, children’s theatre and storytelling. Did we mention there will also be an open-air cinema? Screening kids favourites such as ‘Moana’ and ‘Sing’, in the afternoon there is a little something for the adults too, with screenings of ‘Moulin Rouge’ and ‘the Breakfast Club.’

Natural History Museum, until Sep 2018
This half term, experience the chance to be up close and personal with the Natural History Museum’s Sensational Butterflies. Hang out in a tropical conservatory and learn more about the habitats and life cycle of these winged wonders.

The festival of circus and cabaret has returned, and just in time for half term.
This year’s festival hosts a lively line up of our 4 favourite Cs: cabaret, circus, comedy and children’s theatre. Did we mention the many scrumptious food and drink stalls and fairground rides?

Puppet Theatre Barge
Little Venice, 19th May – 8th July
Who wouldn’t love to have story time on a barge? Capture the imaginations of your little ones as the Puppet Theatre Barge re-tell the tale of Little Red Riding Hood with marionettes and shadow puppets.

Love your Zoo week
Battersea Park, 28th May – 1st June
Fancy a trip to the zoo? Why not hang out with Battersea Park’s resident guests this half term. Take part in animal-themed activities and help the keepers give some of their critters a special treat. Each day a different creature will be in the spotlight, and there’ll be special celebrations on Wednesday 30th May for World Otter Day.

V&A Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green, 28th May – 1st June
Let the imaginations of your little ones run wild in one of the many family workshops running this half term at the V&A Museum of Childhood. Our favourite has to be the ‘Become a Crazy Inventor’ workshop, perfect for all of our aspiring mini makers and designers.
Plus, don’t miss out on the chance to meet some of the super awesome artists and digital makers, including Paul Clifford and Laura X Carlé.

Maggie & Rose Big Kids Camp
Chiswick/Kensington, 28th May – 1st June
If you’re having to sit this half term out due to work, why not drop your kids off at our very own legendary half term camps!
Our Kensington Club is hosting a week of super cool dinosaur themed entertainment that your little ones are guaranteed to love. Or, dust off your capes at our Chiswick Club as Big Kids Camp opens the doors to its Superhero Training School! Maggie & Rose camps are open to members and non-members and are the perfect way to keep your little ones entertained throughout the half term
